2. We keep up to date on latest search engine news, so that we can recommend best ways to promote your site.
    
3. We follow the world leaders in marketing and try to keep up with latest trends, such as successful writing-to-sell methods discussed by Michel Fortin.

1. For making a web site from scratch, you must have a clear idea WHY you want a web site. It sounds simple, but is one of the most important planning questions you can answer.
   
   
2. Do your planning - how do you want your site to appear? Using a flow chart method, write down on paper and show the names of your pages and how they will fit together. Common web pages are Home, About Us, Products, Services, Contact Us, and Links.
   
   
3. The more detail that you can provide, the lower the costs will be. No one knows your business as well as you do. Rather than having us sit down and create the text for your site, you should at least send us an information package about yourself. We can polish and fine-tune your text, and add to it, but if you can tell us what you want to say and what you want to accomplish on your site, it will minimize the time it takes for us to come up with the final design. While it is up to you to provide this basic information, it is up to us to make it "look good", to make it SELL your product, and to optimize the text and images for the search engines. Visually appealing, good navigation, and designed with both your visitors and search engines in mind makes a site work.
   
   
4. Look on the Internet and make notes of sites that you like, and WHY you do.  Is there a particular theme to a site you like? Do you like flashing images? If you see sites that you DON'T like, make notes about them, too. We all have our favorites!
   
   
5. Other web sites, books, and your own experiences are great sources of inspiration for when it comes time to writing.  If you are not a good writer, consider hiring a professional. Is this worth it?  Yes, if you want to portray your best image.
